Birds and Buds by Sarah Freeman Adapted by Marge Thompson
Base your surface with Black Plum or Antique Maroon Dry Sand Repaint and lightly sand
Trace and Transfer design. When transferring commas only put a line in the center of each- length and placement is important. Do not transfer the whole commas as yours may not be the same size.
The center is painted in Burnt Orange The heart flowers are based in Burnt Orange
Base the birds – Butterscotch
Base the four top leaves – Plantation Pine and three at the bottom center Avodado
Base the buds or berries – Marigold
Palette : Gingerbread Lavender Red Iron Oxide
True Ochre Butter White
Soft Black Jade Green
Canyon Orange Avocado Base coat color Black plum or Antique Maroon
Moon Yellow Green Mist
Oxblood Plantation Pine
Bring a piece of cardboard or poster board painted any color to practice commas.
Brushes – Your favorite smallest Liner, #2 or #3 Round (McNaughton or Margo Clark magic brush)
A small and medium angle or your favorite shader/floater brush.
Also bring all other normal painting supplies
