June Workshop

Alice Frisch will teach a Narcissus
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES:
11x14 Mat with a 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 opening Prep: If using a solid surface, Base - ice blue
140 lb watercolor paper or surface of choice On Water color paper only trace entire triangle
3/4" flat brush at this time.
All normal painting supplies Work on inside of triangle
frog tape Tape off inner triangle to get a clean edge.
Acrylic colors: (use Frog tape)
dried basil green Wet inside of triangle if desired (you get more control)
wisteria Work wet on wet, slip slap mix of dried basil green &
raw sienna Wisteria (1-2), wet on wet use eggshell white on cool
raw umber White.
white Then use Wisteria here and there.
Let dry throughly
butter Next tape off outside border-inside & out one side at a
eggshell or cool white time. Using a mix of ice blue + eggshell (1-4) paint
camel each edge separately, let dry well. Paint in the
ice blue direction of the tape line or it may bleed. May need
two coats.
Finally, trace pattern on litely, as flowers are eggshell.
if too dark, lines will show.
