and what we are all about.

Our meetings are a time to learn and have fun doing what we all love--PAINTING.
Each Year Manatee Haven is involved in numerous campaigns to help out in Citrus county.  Sometimes we even jump county lines to help.
At Christmas each year we "sponsor" a child for Christmas that needs extra help.  2011 we gathered items for a foster child. 
We also support the Foster Parents of Citrus County by filling baskets with items that will help them with their job of keeping the foster children healthy and happier.
Another philanthropic project Manatee Haven has been part of is the Pilot club of Citrus county (parade of trees)   We painted the ornaments and decorated the trees.
Proceeds from the auction went to the Brain Injured Foundation.
